Healing doesn't end in the operation theatre, and for many people it never needs to begin there. Dr Prakash Jha heads the Sports Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation department at CSI. He has 13 years of experience in the NCR and specialises in sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, biomechanics and the conservative (non-surgical) management of injuries.
- Education: BPT from the University of Delhi and MPT in Sports Physiotherapy from Jamia Millia Islamia.
- International training: Fascial Manipulation (Italy), Kaltenborn (USA), Mulligan Manual Therapy (Australia), Dry Needling (South Africa) and Kinesiotaping (Belgium).
- Experience: He has worked with the BCCI as an Assistant Doping Control Officer and Anti- Doping Chaperone, and he has been visiting and guest faculty at the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga and Jamia Millia Islamia.
- Expertise: Post-operative rehab after joint repairs and ligament reconstructions, spinal injury rehab, biomechanical analysis and therapeutic yoga integration.
