This information is extremely important for those traveling from overseas for their Orthopedic Surgery/ Treatment in India. Patients who are traveling from overseas with medical visas other than Bangladesh or Pakistan, need to get themselves registered at the FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Office). The registration process should be completed within 2 weeks (14 days) upon your arrival in India. You can get the format details from the International Patients’ desk.
Patients who are traveling from Pakistan or Bangladesh need to get registered at the nearest Police station or the Commissioner’s office within 24 hours of arrival in India.
